Jamie recently celebrated her ten-year anniversary as an Agency Social Worker with Avant-Garde, where she came through an online job search. Jamie attended Vanguard University of Southern California, a private Christian college, spending the first two years on Biblical Studies. She wanted to build a firm biblical foundation and learn to love God as he loved us. There she attained her BA degree in psychology. She followed that with a Masters degree in Family and Children Therapy from University of Phoenix.
Jamie enjoys working one-on-one with foster resource families, guiding them to be successful, while always advocating for the kids under her watch. Interacting with the families and kids is her favorite part of the job. For Jamie, the most rewarding part is the impact she makes toward seeing lives changed for the better.
Jamie is devoted to God and her family. With a passion for music, she enjoys singing and playing guitar. She loves the winter, caramel dipped apples, her favorite jeans, and sleep.
